Dra. Ana Moreno

I studied Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of the University of Granada from 1983 to 1989. During the last three years of my degree I was a student intern in the Department of Surgery and its Speciality at the University of Granada.

Academic Degrees

From that first contact with surgery I considered the possibility of specialising in surgery. I obtained my degree in Medicine and Surgery with the title: Contribution to the surgical treatment of adult inguinal hernias, with special reference to hernial recurrence under the direction of R. Vara Thorbect, Professor of Surgical Pathology and Clinic of the University of Granada, to whom I am grateful for his dedication. Obtained the title of Medical Specialist in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery from the Department of Surgery and its specialities at the University of Seville, gaining access to this post via Mir.

Residency

I did my residency from 1st January 1992 to 31st December 1996. During my residency I carried out further training in other hospitals in Spain and abroad, such as the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville in the Department of Plastic Surgery and Burns and in the Manuel Gea González Hospital in Mexico D.F. (Mexico) in the Maxillofacial Surgery Department and in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the Head of Services Dr. F. Ortiz Monasterio. I am a full member of the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SECPRE) and of the Andalusian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SACPRE). Since the end of my residency I have dedicated myself to the private practice of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, being my main requirement to obtain the best results for my patients.
